Despite the sore throat, fever, and grouchy disposition, my eyes lit up when the DHL delivery guy knocked on our door. He was holding a big package, and in it was the e72 box. If I could shout, I would have, but even laughing hurt so I didn’t dare shout in glee. I have the black version and it’s one sweet gadget. I’ve synced my phone already with the unit, thanks to Nokia’s easy sync application. Anyway, here are the …
Just last week I got an email from WomWorld Nokia. In the email was an offer to test a Nokia phone (of course, it’s a nokia phone, duh.) My fingers flew off the keyboard to type E72 and the N97. I’m a big fan of Nokia’s E series and I use a black E63, which is often mistaken as a blackberry by some people. :p

Aside from watching and drooling over Simon Baker in The Mentalist, I found myself watching a lot of pinoy indie films.
The first Filipino indie film I remember watching is Kubrador, back when I was in college. I liked the documentary, realistic feel and the stark difference it showed from the usual pinoy movie fare (think john Lloyd-bea).
Access to pinoy indie films in Davao is a bit limited, I would often get my copy from an artsy friend or watch it online. Unlike here where indie films are shown in Cinemas like Robinsons Galleria, in UP Dil, Cubao Expo, malls, and you’ll even find pirated copies of indie films in Quiapo and Makati Cinema Square.

I bought myself a Neutrogena Wave today using the Sodexho gift certificate the bosses at work gave me. I’m not a product junkie but I do love little gadgets that make my life easier. Yeah, yeah, lazy old me.

Back in highschool a lot of my friends had wonderful singing voices. Aya sang for the school choir, along with Ferdie, Dean and the rest of the gang. Even Lindl, the seatmate I tortured with my sewing machine pen, could sing…well rap, actually. But still, most of them were into music.

I rarely watch singing shows unless I’m forced to. But now that I’m living on my own (pretty much) I usually spend my free time sleeping, surfing the net, or scouring the metro for thrift shops.
While surfing the net I noticed the name Susan Boyle being bandied about. Finally giving in, I went to youtube and watched a few of her videos. My golly. She has the voice of an angel indeed. Haha! I never thought she’d sound that good.
